EMFI APOSTOLIC STRATEGIES
"Let a man so account of us as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. Colossians 3:23-24, And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance for ye serve the Lord Christ." 1 Corinthians 4:1-2

APOSTOLIC REGIONAL OVERSIGHT

We believe that the New Testament is apostolic in nature and governed by delegated authorities. Therefore, some leaders within EMFI will also serve as Regional Liaisons to assist Apostle Griffin with apostolic oversight in the assigned geographical regions.  Regional Liaisons will assume spiritual responsibility for their assigned region as directed by the Holy Spirit. Their duties and responsibilities are: 

  • Develop relationship and communication between different churches/ministries located in the assigned geographical region.

  • Provide spiritual oversight and accountability to ministries in the assigned region via:

    • Ministry equipping and development

    • Mentor and support using Godly authority

    • Outreach/regional gatherings

    • Scheduled visits

  • Implement church/ministry planting and intercessory teams as Holy Spirit directs.

  • Coordinate regional team training and prayer events.

  • Communicate with the intercessory team as needed for assistance with regional and other prayer ministry initiatives.

  • Perform other duties that assist Apostle Griffin in implementing the benefits of apostolic covering.

INTERCESSORY MINISTRY

The collective intercessory prayer team (known as EMFI Intercessors Alliance) works in alignment with the Regional Liaisons to carry out the prayer initiatives for EMFI.  Extensive training will be provided for those interested in being EMFI intercessors. The following are the responsibilities expected of members who desire to act as intercessors for EMFI:

  • Commit to one year of service as an EMFI IA intercessor. Seek guidance from the Holy Spirit when undertaking any prayer initiative/event.

  • Maintain a lifestyle of prayer and fasting as directed by self and inspired by team leaders.

  • Maintain a lifestyle conducive to producing the fruit of the Spirit, so that one can operate freely with honesty integrity and love.

  • Conduct all prayer affairs in decency and in order, which means accountability to each other, and to all team leaders and Leaders involved with the EMFI IA team.

  • Follow “chain of responsibility” :

    • Concerns, insights, feedback, and messages received during prayer (that the intercessor has confirmed to be shared) concerning EMFI ministry initiatives and key leaders, should always be reported to the Regional Oversight representative.

    • Regional Liaison may collaborate with Intercessory Ministry Leaders or Assistant Presiding Apostles, and make needed preparations to report to Presiding Apostle.

  • Demonstrate commitment to meet with local church/ministry and/or regional ministry training and prayer events, and access alternative resources when not available.

  • Maintain confidentiality of the prayer ministry’s events and refrain from gossip and criticism of the ministry, ministry leaders, and ministry events.

  • Seek spiritual help and support when needed. 

  • Strive to conduct all affairs related to intercession with the guiding principle of spiritual unity among the intercessors.
